Summary: | The automotive business environment is becoming increasingly complex, characterized by limited budgets, tight deadlines, dispersed teams, and a growing demand for diversified products. One of the major challenges in this industry segment is ensuring competitiveness in the face of a high number of new projects. The complexity of managing these projects is further heightened by the relentless pursuit of productivity, quality, and efficiency standards. According to Santos (2014), these characteristics have defined the Brazilian automotive industry in recent years. The current competitive landscape has compelled companies to reconsider their organizational structures for project execution. Within a process of organizational structure transformation, primarily driven by competitive pressures, lies the subject of this study: an automotive company. In an effort to identify strengths and weaknesses in matters related to organization and project management, the results of a survey of professionals within this company will be presented in this work. O ambiente de negocio automotivo esta cada vez mais complexo, caracterizado por orcamentos limitados, prazos restritos, equipes pulverizadas e a demanda crescente dos produtos diversificados. Um dos maiores desafios desse segmento de industria e assegurar a competitividade diante de um numero alto de novos projetos, no qual a complexidade do gerenciamento dos mesmos e aumentada pela busca incisiva de padroes de produtividade, qualidade e eficiencia. Segundo Santos (2014), essas caracteristicas tem definido a industria automotiva brasileira nos ultimos anos. O atual cenario competitivo tem obrigado as empresas repensarem suas estruturas de organizacao para realizacao de projetos. Em um processo de transformacoes na estrutura organizacional, justamente alavancado por pressoes competitivas, se encontra o objeto de estudo desse trabalho, uma empresa do ramo automobilistico. No intuito de identificar pontos fortes e fracos de questoes relacionadas a organizacao e gerenciamento de projetos, o resultado de uma consulta de opiniao aos profissionais dessa empresa sera apresentado nesse trabalho.
