Summary:This article has as its theme the reflection on environmental education (EE) and territorial development, based on landless children childhood experiences in the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST). The choice of the theme is justified by the investigation of the children way of life, children who are subjected to a process of struggle for agrarian reform for better living conditions, for preservation of the environment, healthy food and schools. The objective of this work is to identify how the landless children become subjects of the process, reflecting on the EE they experience. The principles that guided the research were based on the philosophy of social praxis, considering the dialectic relationship between theory and practice for formative and educational work with children in the countryside, through the historical process of the MST's struggle for land. The methodology of an interdisciplinary nature, by monitoring pedagogical practices, used natural resources to build portfolios and dialogues in the areas of Agrarian Reform Settlements in the region of Vale do Paraiba, Sao Paulo. The result we seek is to confirm the importance of working on the environmental issue in the Landless childhood education since they are building an emancipatory education based on the struggle of the family and a sense of belonging to their territory, by means of ludic pedagogical practices contributing to a relationship of preservation and respect for the environment. Keywords: Landless childhood; Pedagogical practices; Nature's resources; Childhood environmental education.
