Summary:The aim of the study was identify models that best explain the relationships between scout variables in the games of the World Cup Football 2014. The 32 fixtures were analyzed. The data were taken from the official website of the International Football Federation (FIFA). The results indicated that the models for the variables passes certain ([r.sup.2] = 0.710), possession ([r.sup.2] = 0.679), crosses ([r.sup.2] = 0.639) and goals scored ([r.sup.2] = 0.608) were significant (p <0.05). It is conclude that such variables summarize all of the other existing and analyzed in match's scout, which gives coaches another tool to enhance the work done in each training session. Key words: Football. Game Analysis. Perfromance. O objetivo do estudo foi identificar os modelos que melhor explicam as relacoes entre as variaveis do scout dos jogos da Copa do Mundo de futebol de 2014. Foram analisados os 32 jogos da competicao. Os dados foram retirados do site oficial da Federacao Internacional de Futebol (FIFA). Os resultados indicaram que os modelos para as variaveis passes certos ([r.sup.2]=0,710), posse de bola ([r.sup.2]=0,679), cruzamentos ([r.sup.2]=0,639) e gols feitos ([r.sup.2]=0,608) foram significativos (p<0,05). Conclui-se que tais variaveis sumarizam as todas as outras existentes e analisadas no scout de jogo, o que fornece aos treinadores mais uma ferramenta para aperfeicoar os trabalhos realizados em cada sessao de treino.
