Summary:Forced sex, cigarette smoking, marijuana use, alcohol use, physical fights, suicide attempts, and feelings of sadness, isolation, or hopelessness are reported significantly more often in adolescents with disabilities than in their peers who do not have a disability (Alexander, 2006; Cheng & Udry, 2002; Everett & Lollar, 2008).
