Summary: | A better understanding of the mobile sensors and the need for mobile information management have improved the personal healthcare in recent years. In this study, we present a mobile-healthcare approach for the automatic assessment of sustainable fitness in hands correlated to different diseases. Arm weakness is a common symptom in many of the chronic diseases like arthritis or cardiac arrest. It is also a prominent signature of verifying fitness in many healthy persons too. To detect the amount of weakness in arm, we perform a simple test of lifting hand using a smart phone. With this approach, we can basically quantify the fitness of arm and routinely track whether the condition of the subject sustains or not. |
