A Dwarf Galaxy's Simple Past
Pamela L. Gay determined the past of the Ursa Minor dwarf spheroidal galaxy UGC 9749. She found that this faint Milky Way neighbor experienced only a single star-forming event early in its existence, "and then nothing."
