Summary: | Jackdaws can be used in bringing history to life for school children, thereby soliciting greater involvement and participation from them. Jackdaws refer to the visual representation of events and would require the use of items such photographs, artworks and maps. Its effectiveness was discovered after applying the method to young students of a summer program, who had to learn about the history of Native Americans. Preservice teachers are presently being taught how to employ this technique to their future students. |
