The 500th anniversary of the publication of Fra Luca Pacioli's treatise on accounting, Summa de Arithmetica, Geometria, Proportioni et Proportionalita, will be celebrated in 1994. A playful dialogue with Pacioli, known as the father of accounting, is presented.
