Summary: | Brady discusses the American Society of Military Comptrollers (ASMC), which has begun its Fiscal Year 24 with a focus on reviewing its governance, business model, and business processes to provide more value to its members and the defense financial management community. The previous year ended with a successful Professional Development Institute (PDI) event, which had a record number of attendees and featured various workshops, mini-courses, exhibitors, and special events. The organization is already planning for the next PDI in Phoenix AZ in 2024. ASMC is also celebrating its 75th anniversary and has a PPBE Reform Task Force that has been active in conducting surveys. The organization will continue to offer programs and events that support its mission objectives, including summits and various networking opportunities. |
