Summary:Reittererova features Klementina Kalasova, the Brazilian operatic diva from Horni Berkovice Czech Republic. The volatile and adventurous life of Klementina Kalasova and her death in far-away Brazil inspired the imagination, but even the authors of factual news generally had to rely on second- or third-hand news. She was born on the 9th of Sep 1850 in Horni Berkovice to a doctor's family. She began learning the piano and was sent to Bedrich Smetana's music school. She has become a whole artist, a perfect artist, who serves to beautify the Czech name. Her Azucena was so remarkable, so unusual - never before have heard and seen this part sung and acted in this way.
