Magnetic Properties of Composite Materials Based on a Solid Solution of Type [ and Polyethylene

Summary:Basic magnetic characteristics (coercive force [H.sub.c], residual magnetization M, magnetization [M.sub.r], and saturation magnetization [M.sub.s]) of solid solutions of type [(CuInS[e.sub.2]).sub.1-x][(MeSe).sub.x] (Me = Mn, Fe) have been investigated in a wide temperature interval (100-300 K). The existence of a magnetic phase transition has been established for all studied solid solutions at low temperatures, and the Neel temperatures have been determined from the temperature dependences of the magnetization. It is shown that the temperature dependences of coercive force [H.sub.c] and of magnetization M can be described using the thermal relaxation (fluctuation) theory.
