Summary:Experience in the study of the repellent action of two series of drug Deltsid with the active ingredient deltamerin was carried out in one of the farms in Stavropol region in September 2012 by 117 dairy cows. The drug was applied through a spray nozzle on animal croup and extremities in a dose of 100 ml per one head. It is found that the insecticide and repellent effect of two series of drug Deltsid against flies (Musca domestica, Stomoxys calcitrans and Liperosia irritans), mosquitoes (Aedes detritus and A. vexans), gnats (Odagmia ornate, Eusimulium latizonum) and gadflies of the family Tabanidae was 19 days.
