Pattern of nucleic-acid synthesis in isolated pupal abdomens of the silkworm, Bombyx mori (Lepidoptera: Bombycidae), infected with nuclear polyhedrosis virus

The authors outline the synthetic-activities patterns of DNA and RNA in isolated NPV-infected and uninfected abdomens and have shown that the experimental system is useful for the examination of the biochemical mechanisms of NPV multiplication, especially that or viral DNA replication.
