Summary:A single-equation nonlinear hedonic price function is estimated for parcels of rural land in transition from agriculture in a Nevada community. Empirical results are evaluated relative to the effects of selected government-provided amenities on parcel prices. Utilizing the estimated hedonic equation, bid (demand) and offer (supply) functions are determined for two dependent trait variables of parcel size and closeness to mountains.
