Summary:Teaching and learning fraction concepts continues to be increasingly challenging, especially for elementary and middle school mathematics teachers and students in intervention settings. It is critical for educators to implement instruction that proactively considers engagement, access, and conceptual growth for all students. Dream 2B, a web-based universally designed fraction game, has the potential to significantly impact engagement and conceptual understanding of fractions. In addition, it introduces students to Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Information Communication Technology (ICT) careers. This manuscript provides guidance for utilizing Dream 2B as supplemental mathematics instruction. Components of Universal Design for Learning, as well as gameplay Concept/Skill connections, are provided. Guidance for expanding Dream2B into virtual learning environments is also discussed.
