Summary:This paper proposes a Holochain-based system to enhance the security and management of healthcare data in a distributed cloud environment, addressing the limitations of blockchain technology. While blockchain ensures data integrity, it faces performance degradation and resource consumption challenges when processing large volumes of transactions. To overcome these issues, the study introduces Holochain, a technology that enables data recovery in case of loss and validates data through local consensus without requiring global agreement. The proposed system is composed of a HoloLink module and a transformation module, with the user interface fully implemented. Performance evaluation experiments demonstrate that the Holochain-based system significantly reduces validation time as the number of nodes and transactions increases, compared to traditional blockchain systems.
