Summary: | A speech given by professor Reinhard Zimmermann, director of the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law, to the graduates of McGill University is presented. He said the theme of his graduation address is legal history and comparative law. Duties to disclose and dealing in good faith, change of circumstances, and the effect of undue influence on wills and contracts: these are all issues that every modern legal system in the Western world has to grapple with. |
