Hydatid cyst of the left ventricle of the heart: Acute hydatid pericarditis

The authors report a case of hydatid cyst in the left ventricular wall of the heart. Rupture of the cyst into the intrapericardial space gave rise to acute hydatid pericarditis. The patiënt was successfully operated upon.
