Summary:This paper analyzes which is the impact of the lack of knowledge by school principals on teaching English in public schools of Costa Rica. Sometimes the complete ignorance of this subject by principals effects and limits the performance in the educational schools in Sarapiquí and also Costa Rica. This paper proposal has the objective of analyze the relationship between the English knowledge of school principals against the English learning process by teachers, students even family parents in Sarapiquí schools from Costa Rica, on 2015. Therefore, the data collected in the current Thesis have the purpose of demonstrating to the reader what is happening in a certain period and place so that this way it is taken as a sample to know the existing relationship between knowledge and the application of it in the educational centers of the country.Keywords: learning foreign languages, language acquisition, administration and performance assessment of foreign languages from schools in Costa Rica
