Summary:ABSTRACT The construction industry is one of the main consumers of natural resources, generating huge environmental impacts. An experimental program was carried out from the characterization of the materials, production of specimens and verification of the concrete in its fresh and hardened state. After the elaboration of a reference line that reached a compressive strength greater than 25 MPa at 28 days, the substitution of traditional aggregates for that of alternative use was succeeded in proportions of 10%, 15%, 20%, 30%, 40 % and 50%. [...]it was proven that stone powder and waste tire rubber can be replaced by up to 15% to traditional aggregates for concrete for structural purposes.
