Summary:Thiourea and its derivatives have become a significant focal point within the organic synthesis field, garnering attention for their diverse biological applications, including antibacterial, antioxidant, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, anti-Alzheimer, antituberculosis and antimalarial properties. My objective is to present a comprehensive and easily understandable analysis of recent advancements in the organic synthesis of thiourea derivatives. My focus is on the structure and activity of these derivatives over the past five years, highlighting the significant progress made in the field of organic synthesis. Additionally, I evaluate the current state of research in this area and provide an overview of the latest trends and future prospects.
