Summary:The stability problem is investigated for a class of nonlinear singular systems with interval time-varying delays. Based on Lyapunov stability theory, using linear matrix inequality and free-weighting matrix approach, a new delay-dependent stability criterion for the nonlinear singular systems to be regular, impulse free and uniformly asymptotically stable is proposed. The result shows that it can be used to effectively judge the stability of nonlinear singular systems with interval time-varying delay, meanwhile, it has less conservatism than some existing ones, which is demonstrated by numerical examples.
