Summary:Working for an Algerian school system opened to the world languages and cultures is an achievable ambition for it is on the agenda of education policies. In this regard, this article questions any signs that confirm or contest the presence of an international education based on teaching methods that prone national values as well as linguistic and cultural diversity. These signs are the answers to a questionnaire that has been submitted to high school foreign language teachers and a German language inspector.
