Summary:This study demonstrates how Brahminic embodiment provides a constraining milieu for the growth of technology in different historical and epistemic epochs. Brahmanic comportment allows for appropriating technology in a way that creates a historical continuity with an auratic past and disallows the agential power of technology to extinguish the spirit of the Indic auratic past. In effect, Brahmanic comportment disallows technological advancement and human flourishing.
