Summary:Because of what happened in 1989, Romanian society has undergone a massive reform-based modernization process. Rethinking the Public Health System is a highly contested topic. Almost every shift in government personnel has renewed calls for widespread public health education and awareness. To put things in perspective, we analyzed the existing status in Romania, and appropriately emphasize prospective possibilities and viable courses of action in a European context .
