Summary:This article aims to present the results of the workshops held with women in the municipality of Zacapu, Michoacan, in 2009. The intention was to listen and understand their needs to help the Institute for Women's of Zacapu to leave proposals aimed to solve in any way women's needs. A constant problem is the lack of interest at various levels of government for the care of women and propose real solutions to their problems. Only in times of elections can have a chance to be heard. One of the reflections obtained with this dialogue is that women of Zacapu suffer great inequality and violence, not only within their families, but a structural violence that violates their rights and that the actions and policies do not have reduced.
