Summary:Sheet metal forming industries which have a large product and consumption volume use conventional sheet metal forming techniques due to low production cost per unit. However, in order to afford increasing economical demands and demands which has few differences in more economical way, incremental sheet forming (ISF) stand out in recent years in the sheet metal industry. In this study, incremental sheet forming has been performed by 500 RPM as the spindle speed, 10 mm as the tool diameter, 1000 mm/min as the feed rate with AA 2024-T3 sheets which are 1 mm thickness. In addition, two different lubricant kinds used in the process are investigated. It has been seen that these lubricant kinds haven’t done any differences. Three different tool paths have been tried and best result has been achieved with the first tool path which has 0.5 mm step down values. From the point of the product cost, under number of 500 manufacturing, ISF is more economic than molding AA 2024 ALAŞIMININ ARTIŞLI ŞEKİLLENDİRİLEBİLİRLİĞİNİN İNCELENMESİÜrün ve tüketim hacmi geniş olan sac metal şekillendirme sektörü, ürün başına maliyeti düşürmesi sebebiyle geleneksel sac metal şekillendirme yöntemlerini kullanmaktadır. Ürün maliyeti açısından da, 500 adetin altındaki üretimlerde, AŞY kalıpla üretim yöntemine göre daha ekonomiktir.INVESTIGATION OF INCREMENTAL SHEET FORMABILITY OF   AA 2024 ALLOYSheet metal forming industries which have a large product and consumption volume use conventional sheet metal forming techniques due to low production cost per unit.
