Summary:In engineering practical models designed by the gravity criterion,details relatingto turbulent fine structure are difficult to keep in similar.In this paper,similarity relations ofthe turbulent structure and its influences on turbulent lime-mean quantities are discussed in thecase of model flows satisfied the gravity similarity law.The fluctuating pressure acting on thefloor within free hydraulic jumps are measured for three scale models and compared with the the-oretical results.
