Summary: | This article has been retracted: please see Elsevier Policy on Article Withdrawal (https://www.elsevier.com/locate/withdrawalpolicy).
This article has been retracted at the request of the Editors.
The journal was alerted to concerns regarding the origin of the SEM image (Fig. 3(e)) used in this paper. From communications with the University of Melbourne, it became clear that the owner of the image, Dr. Daejung Kim, had not given permission to the authors for it to be used in this article. One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that any figures and data used in a paper must have explicit approval from the copyright owner. As such, this article represents a violation of the scientific publishing system. The authors disagree with the retraction and dispute the grounds for it. Apologies are offered to journal readers that this was not detected during the submission process. |
