Summary:This article discusses the issues of determining the current movements of the Earth's surface by geodetic methods at the Zhambyl predictive geodynamic polygon. The article discusses the characteristics of predictive polygons in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The data of vertical movements of the Earth's surface on the territory of the Zhambyl geodynamic polygon are presented. The results of high-precision leveling for 2020 and 2022 are presented, which made it possible to plot vertical displacement graphs and analyze changes in the position of geodetic reference points. The analysis showed that in the study area there are slight vertical displacements from -0.01 to -0.06 mm/year, which do not exceed the allowable possible accumulation of measurement errors.
