Summary:This study specifically examines if adolescents' use of digital screens, including smartphones, tablets, and computers, affects their health and happiness. The aim is to provide stakeholders such as teachers, parents, and lawmakers with a comprehensive understanding of this issue. The study conducted a thorough review of secondary data, including studies published between January 2019 and June 2021, focusing on adolescents' screen time, social relationships, and mental health. The results highlight the importance of social networks in adolescents' screen time and the complex relationship between the amounts of time spent on screens, their purpose, and their mental health effects.
