Summary:The Cover Feature illustrates an innovative approach to tackling the synthesis of catalysts able to carry out complex multi‐step transformations of bioderived platform molecules into desirable products. The realization of an effective and efficient catalyst bearing both kinds of necessary active sites (Brønsted and Lewis acid) is achieved by spray freeze drying a fluorinated acid polymer and a metal oxide together. A careful balancing of the two components allows the resulting catalyst to achieve high productivity in the one‐pot conversion of biomass‐derived furfural into γ‐valerolactone, a potential green fuel and solvent. More information can be found in the Research Article by S. Albonetti and co‐workers.
