Summary:Decision-making is one of the basic activities of commanders in combat. Commanders' decision-making is a process of choosing between at least two possible options for the actions of their own units. The creation of variants of one's own activity is characterized by the effort of the staff to develop the widest possible set of conceptually different variants, which are selected at a certain stage of the process and inadmissible variants are subsequentlyexcluded. The content of the article is a description of the principles and ways of using the war game with the application of selected methods (systematic-analytical methods of the probability tree, supplemented by the scenario method) and managerial decision-making methodology (Kepner Tregoe methodology).
