Summary:In this contribution is presented a dwelling attributed to Vădastra culture excavated in 1959–1961 at Slatina by D. Berciu and M. Butoi. Starting from it, we tried to analyse the little data available on the habitat of the Vădastra culture north of the Danube. A recent list of discoveries presents 28 localities with Vădastra type pottery and other six uncertain ones north of the Danube. Most of them were identified during field surveys, and only a few reveal information about the habitation structures
