ChemInform Abstract: Synthesis, Characterization, and Electronic Structure of Single‐Crystal SnS, Sn 2 S 3 , and SnS 2

Abstract Single crystals of SnS (I), SnS 2 (II), and Sn 2 S 3 (III) are grown by chemical vapor transport using stoichiometric amounts of Sn and S and I 2 as transport agent (evacuated silica ampule, 950→850 °C for (I), 850→600 °C for (II), and 650→500 °C for (III)).
