ReO 3 (O 2 PCl 2 ) · POCl 3 is prepared by the reaction of ReCl 5 with Cl 2 O in the presence of POCl 3 . According to the vibrational spectrum the structure consists of dimeric units with bridging O 2 PCl 2 groups.
