Summary:The Ottoman State wanted to change the customs tariff that it had put into practice with the 1840 trade agreement it signed with Germany. Two important factors in this change attract attention. The first factor will be an increase in product prices and a decrease in customs duties. The second factor will be attempts to change the economic concept of the economy depending on the developments in the world conjuncture. The Ottoman State renewed the customs tariff with Germany after the 20 March 1862 trade agreement. Tariff was prepared as Ottoman Turkish. When translating to the Latin alphabet, the original statements were true.
