| Bibliography: | 11-2711/G2 Though analyzing the advantages, challenges and material and technical conditions of paper sci-tech journals, it provided service for the organic combination of sci-tech journals and new technologies with the application of two-di- mensional code. By consulting the samples of several journals in library, it reviewed the application status of two-dimensional code in sci-tech journals; it also explored the innovative application of two-dimensional code in sci-tech journals according to its characteristics. It found that the application of two-dimensional code in sci-tech journals concentrated on website link functions, rather than its information capacity. The two-dimensional code would be an innovative opportunity for traditional sci-tech journals, and the journals should pay attention to both content generation and standardized application of two-dimensional code in the process of applying two-dimensional code to provide innovative service.
