The rise and development of MOOC has brought opportunities as well as challenges to university library. Based on the analysis about the development status of MOOC in domestic and foreign universities, this paper put forward strategies for independent college libraries to utilize MOOC, including promoting MOOC, providing MOOC re- source, training librarians and carrying out information literacy education through MOOC and creating MOOC learning space.
