Analytical tools such as Thomson Data Analyzer and Microsoft Excel were used to analyze the patents of biodiesei in the Derwent Innovation Index database.It was concluded that annual changes,main subject categories and technology topics of biodiesei patents,and main countries and organizations of biodiesei patents were importantly analyzed.The findings in this paper can provide information and reference for the development of technologies and industries of biodiesei.
