Taking the SCI papers of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University from 2002 to 2012 as example, this paper ana- lyzed its achievements in scientific research by using the retrieval and analysis functions of SCI and Incite databases from the time distribution, subject area, thesis partner countries and institutions, citation of papers and academic in- fluence. The results reflected the research level and subject development of Inner Mongolia Agricultural University through the quantitative analysis of data and provided some scientific and accurate evaluation data and theoretical basis for the subject construction, evaluation of scientific research and reform of education and teaching.
