Summary:The diverdity of Euphorbiaceae family in Tien Phong Commune (Pu Hoat Nature Reserve, Nghe An Province) was investigated from October 2018 to April 2019. In the research area, 94 species belonging to 33 genera of Euphorbiaceae were collected and identified. The most diverse genera were Mallotus (8 species) and Macaranga (7 species). The life-form spectrum of the Euphorbiaceae family as following: Ph% = 2.1% Mg + 29.1% Me + 38.2% Mi + 23.2% Na + 3.1% Lp + 0.0% Ep + 3.1% Hp + 0.0% Pp + 1.0% Suc. Above species were recognized as medicinal plants (60 species), timber plants (32 species), edible plants (13 species), essential oil plants (5 species), toxic and ornamental plants (2 species), and fiber plant (1 species). Considering the plant geography, of 94 species, 61.70% were identified as Asian tropical species, 31.91% were Vietnamese endemic and near-endemic species.
