Not only had it possess great varieties, but also it enjoyed a high level of layers. It has both national and local reading sessions. After nearly 60 years of development, reading festival has become the new historical and cultural traditions of the whole country. From the initial traditional trade book exhibitions, it shades into the reading festival, and finally rose to the national strategic level. The establishment and prosperity of the reading festival reflects the respect to the American cultural tradition and the construction of the American dream. Studying and discussing the American reading festival is of great reference value for the construcion of our scholarly society. |
