Education is a cultural process, in the teaching practice of ideological and law basics course, the activation of teaching subject and learning subject is an important way for perfecting the cultural metabolism mecha- nism and creativity of college students. It is also a major cultural issue of teaching and learning at the level of prac- tice. Based on the study of the significance and principle of practice subject activation for course of ideological and law basics in colleges and universities, the teaching process of the course is analyzed in a cultural respective and the cognition vision for the issue is proposed.
