The continual development of high-end manufacturing equipment is essential for the development of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry. By examining the development trends of aeronautic equipment, aerospace equipment, rail transportation equipment, ocean engineering equipment and intelligent manufacturing equipment during the 13th Five-Year Plan, these authors ana- lyze the new demands and future priorities of high-end manufacturing equipment. Starting from the current situation of manufacturing equipment enterprises in China, this paper puts forward suggestions to promote the sound development of the high-end equipment manufacturing industry.
