"The best way out is always through" -Robert Frost The authors in this issue provide us with options for moving through some of physical therapy education's more difficult problems. * Brudvig provides insight about clinical reasoning in the framework of internationally trained therapists, helping us learn about both clinical reasoning and the skills these therapists need to develop as they consider practicing in the United States. * Fu provides us with more information ab out how to assure that our students have the skills they need in clinical reasoning. * Gresham highlights new information about the graduates of diverse physical therapist assistant (PTA) programs and Maring adds to the conversation in her commentary by asking some hard questions about what we know and don't know in regards to PTA education. * Hinman, Peterson, and Gibbs ask whether we, in physical therapy, are doing enough for our students with disabilities. * Schreiber, Perry, Downey, and Wilkerson continue to add more data from their study of how to best design education that succeeds in achieving behavioral change. * Wetherbee, Palaima, and McSorley provide additional data about the perceived barriers to clinicians choosing to engage in much needed clinical education for our entry-level students.
