Summary: | Abstract
Cuban laurel thrips feeding on young Ficus nitida leaves cause the leaves to discolor and roll into a leaf gall. All galls were stripped from container-grown trees prior to treatment. Treatments were applied when new galls appeared, 29 May. Galled leaves were counted at 2-wk intervals following treatment. All galled leaves were removed after 8 wk, returned to the laboratory, and checked for eggs, immatures, and adults. |
