Despite the uniformity of structure, the book highlights the unique challenges and characteristics of the various mental health problems. Research on cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) with children has expanded rapidly, and with it our understanding of the roles of parents in both maintaining child psychopathology and facilitating positive change; the importance of parental involvement in treatment is appropriately highlighted throughout the book. |
