Summary:Being a socially responsible company must be taken as a prevailing necessity for companies that want to be more competitive in an increasingly demanding society. Managers need to develop a wealth of management skills that ensure success in implementing social responsibility actions as a corporate strategy, transforming their actions into practices that raise a sense of responsibility among its employees. So that they strive to enrich communities where they operate, to improve living and working conditions for the generations to come, and to adopt a sustainable business vision. In Mexico, achieving a socially responsible company seal has become an almost impossible undertaking, as there are currently 1,007 socially responsible companies from 5,113,397 existing companies, representing a fledgling 0.019% nationally.
