Data derived from the study questionnaire were inserted into a custom-made database together with demographic and other clinical variables, in particular type of CIED (pacemaker [PM] or implantable cardioverter defibrillator [ICD]), MRI conditionality (yes/no), and date of implant. Results During the 10-month study period, 795 patients were interviewed (508 male, 63.9%; median age 75 yrs., IQR 70–84 yrs.); 560 patients (70.4%) were implanted with a PM and 235 with an ICD (29.6%) (Table 1). |
